This glamorous maxi dress from Berkertex is the absolute epitome of elegance! With its Parisian-chic style and coppery-bronze rust shade, this breathtaking 1970s garment is sure to turn heads. The bodice has a high neck with gathering just below the collar, and the dolman sleeves come down to voluminous gathering around a 3 1/2" wide bracelet cuff with two fabric-covered half dome buttons. Subtly decorative hand-stitched piping trim adorns the collar and cuffs. The long, dramatic skirt flows from the waist and sweeps at floor length. There is a back zipper fastening and two hook and eye closures on the back collar. The coordinating belt features a large, silver statement buckle.

All vintage clothing is measured with the garment flat and measurements doubled for width. Please compare these measurements to a garment that fits you well as often there is very little or no give in vintage fabrics.

There is approximately 1-2" of comfort stretch in the fabric, but the waist is fixed.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
